Department Of Physical Education
Students are provided with lots of facilities for games and sports to realize the dictum of Swami Vivekananda “Fit Your mind and body to be fit” Facilities are available for the following out door and in door games.

Students Health Club
Boys and girls have separate multi gym facility in the department of physical education for promoting their physical and mental strength required to face the challenges in their profession.
Sports Day activity
Annual sports day is being conducted every year and a number of boys and girls are participating in the sports activities enthusiastically. Championship rewards for individual and group are being given every year. This would be a boon for inculcating the sportsmanship in the minds of students’ community.
Co-Curricular Activities
In order to supplement the curricular activities in the class room lectures, we provide opportunity to listen to Edusat programmes telecast by the Anna University, Chennai, throughout the year. The students enrich their knowledge in various subjects by this venture for which the college has conributed Rs.6.5 Lakhs to Anna University, Chennai.

Industrial Visit
Visiting industries is a part of learning process, especially in engineering education. Our students are taken for regular visits to industries in and around Aruppukottai. These visits are arranged to expose the industrial environment to the students and to update their technical knowledge.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
National Cadet Crops (NCC)
NCC was started in our college in September 2003. The strength of the cadets is 52 and our Company (4E) is attached with 28 TN (Bn), Virudhunagar.
Cadets volunteer themselves to serve the Nation by conducting various social awareness programmes and Blood donation camps. They participate in the parades on the Sports Day, Independence Day and Republic Day ceremonies also. Cadets attended Combined Annual Training Camp held at Virudhunagar this year (2007-2008)
National Service Scheme (NSS)
The aim of the NSS is to extend the dimension of the higher education system by influencing the student youth to participate in community service while they are in the college, it is reit tnat tneir interaction with the rural folk and slum dwellers will expose them to the realities of life and bring about a change in their social perception.
National Service Scheme was started in our college in January 2004. There are 100 volunteers involved in this service. The NSS – volunteers will also be the members of the Red Ribbon Club (RRC), which is specially constituted for AIDS Awarness activities and will also actively take part in other general health awareness programmes.
The students are also given opportunities to participate in one or more of the following extra curricular activities to develop theirteam spirit.

Blood Donors Club
Blood Donation.camps are conducted in our college premises in association with the Government Hospital, Aruppukottai And Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai. Students are Staff members who donate blood are honoured with certificates mementoes.Whenever there is an emergency in the Government Hospital for want of blood, students voluntarily donate blood. When there is urgent need for blood for private individuals also, voluntary donation of blood is encouraged.
Youth Red Cross Society
Youth Red Cross Society offers chances and programmes for an all round development of one’s personality. Various social welfare activities are undertaken through YRC wing of our college, which will motivate the students to do sociai service and groom them as good citizens.
Red Ribbon Club
Red Ribbon Club was inaugurated in the year 2006 in our college. Under this wing several programmes related to AIDS awareness are being conducted for the benefit of the students community. Under this system the students are exposed to the evils of AIDS and they are motivated to create an awareness among the public.
This club encourages students to exhibit their talents in music, dance and other stage events in the intra / inter collegiate competitions.
Horticultural Society
This society aims at making the college campus green, and crealng a love for vature in the minds of students.
Photographic Club
The purpose of this club is to encourage the students to develop their skills in photography.
Audio Visual Society
Audio Visual Society in our college makes arrangements for screening films of educative value to students at regular intervals.
